My aim at TGHT is to educate about the very serious (and sometimes seriously confusing) topics around human health in a way that is as thorough and honest as possible but is also understandable, inspiring, and maybe even fun!
This is no small feat, of course, but at the same time it is really important! After all, having fun, laughing a little, and experiencing real hope and joy is absolutely essential every day for good health!

Hello Friends!
This is just a short note to say hi and to introduce you to our latest video for our August theme of Physical Health & the Emotions. To get right to it, here is the video so you can check it out:
I have been wanting to introduce this topic to you for a while because knowing about the emotional connections to healing your body can be a real game changer. In the video, I go into detail about three amazing studies that were groundbreaking in discovering the connection.
For many people on a physical health journey, healing the emotional side of things really is key. Once you begin to heal trauma, turn anxiety/depression around, lower chronic stress, and let go of anger - you may notice that your physical symptoms begins to turn around for the better as well. Inflammation goes down, brain fogs lifts, achy joints become less painful - all because the foundational caused of discord and stress in the body- unhealing trauma, unforgiveness, loneliness, anger - is no longer there. Their inner realm is more at peace and so their physical body becomes to emulate this same "frequency" as well.
I am excited to share this video with you! Now You Try It:
Are you aware of how your emotions affect your physical health? The next time you get into a "spat" with a friend or spouse, start getting frustrated in traffic, or another situation gets you "hot under the collar," take a moment to check in with your body. What sensations are you experiencing in your body as you are having these feelings? You can also do this activity when you are feeling sad, depressed, nervous...or on the flip side...joyful, happy, excited, or at peace.
We "wear" our emotions on our body! Becoming aware of how you uniquely do this can help them pass through you as God intended them to do. Give this awareness exercise a try and see how it "feels" and what you discover! Be sure to write down your reflections in a journal or on your computer for future reflection as well. If you are not a writer, try doing an "audio journal" entry on your phone!
